QC Good Times Inaugural Post

Hi and welcome to Queen City Good Times. This is your one stop place to find out whats happening in the Charlotte area and what bars are worth your time. Creative Loafing and Carolina Nightlife are currently the only places to check out whats happening in Charlotte. I intend to change that. Instead of just telling you about cheesy promotions or crappy indie concerts coming to town, I'm going to give you a realistic look at the places to grab a drink and the people you may run into while enjoying that drink.

I'm starting this site because I was tired of taking a shot in the dark every time I went with my friends to a bar. Who knows if youre going to find three 60 year old drunks and a raggedy bartender or a posse of Playboy bunnies. Or better yet, are you going to wind up wearing jeans and a t-shirt to a fancy club with 5 dollar beer "specials"? It's hit or miss everytime we go out and I don't want my dilemma to be your's. Lets work to change that by giving reviews on these bars and making the Charlotte nightlife scene a more coordinated familiarity.
